As part of dynamic technical inside sales team, you will be fostering the client relationships in conjunction with the Technical Outside group throughout Alberta. Because of the technical offerings of the company, you will have sales exposure into a number of industries including: oil and gas, water/wastewater, manufacturing, agriculture, mining, and food and beverage, as well as be armed with a broad line of pumps, blowers, filters, compressors, etc. for all possible applications
You will be reporting to the Branch Manager and the Regional Sales Manager. As the
TECHNICAL INSIDE SALES person, you will:
- Ensure a timely, professional response to all incoming inquiries with selection and application recommendations
- Prepare detailed quotes, providing superior customer service with timely following-up and communication on the project activities
- Work, consult and liaise with the Engineering Department to provide solutions to projects requiring more than the normal level of technical involvement.
- Research of new projects.
- Assist sales representatives in the achievement of the objectives.
- Regular updating of marketing and technical information.
- To work within a fantastic collaborative culture as a Technical Inside Sales person, you would have developed the following qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering educational background (C.E.T.) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years track record in a technically demanding pump/process equipment Sales environment
- Dynamic team member with strong organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and a drive to succeed
- Customer service oriented with demonstrated problem solving abilities

- Your first year expected Total Compensation range is $57,000 to $85,000 commensurate with your experience. You will also be extended a comprehensive benefit package.
