Senior Electrical Engineer

Description and Desired Qualifications

• Our Senior Electrical Engineer job is the responsible engineer as well as the Lead Electrical Engineer for the Power group in Denver.  You should be a self-motivated licensed electrical engineer with at least 10 years of EPC experience as a Project Lead Electrical Engineer in Power generation or Refinery industries and a desired for professional and personal development with each power generation project.

Our Senior Electrical Engineer:

• Provides electrical system calculations, electrical design, equipment procurement specifications, inter-discipline coordination, and client interface for power plant projects
• Utilizes Professional Engineer seal regarding electrical discipline documents and drawings
• Provides design administration including staff coordination, project reporting and quality control Coordinate with Procurement and Construction project teams
• Participates in routine business travel

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredit college or university
• PE License
• Minimum 10 years of EPC experience as a Project Lead Electrical Engineer in Power generation or Refinery industries. 
• Demonstrated experience in project administrative activities; scope, schedule, budget and change control
• Engineer support to Construction and Start-Up experience
• High level of proficiency in written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High level of proficiency in the power plant design application of electrical system modeling tools such as ETAP and or SKM is preferred
• High level of proficiency in power plant electrical non-physical and physical design is preferred
• Working knowledge of computer aided design platforms and their use on projects is preferred
