Finishes Coordinator

A young and vibrant company with a specialty in the commercial high rise sector is seeking an experienced finishes foreman to join their established building team.  With a project history of between $50- 250 million this company has a strong history in diversity in project size and type, with a focus more recently in the commercial high rise market.  A new wave of tenders just awarded there are three main projects ready to start at $60-90 million in value all in inner Melbourne locations, this is also backed up by a potential pipeline of larger projects in the near future. 
 
Ideally you will have:

• You will be tertiary qualified in a building related field
• Be able to understand and interpret working drawings on commercial sites
• Site inspections and liaising with consultants, architects and engineers
• Have previous experience working with a builder, preferably with high rise projects
• Preparation of RFI’s and Site Instructions
• Compilation and supervision of defects
• Ensuring adherence to OH&S and QA standards
• Have genuine enthusiasm to exceed in the building industry
