This site runs an 8/6 roster
Reporting to the Geology Manager, your duties will include:
- Data collation, reporting and submission
- Providing detailed geological advice to other Departments
- Provide regular contributions to the daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports
- Provide technical and management support for the site management team
- Assisting with environmental requirements
- Managing drilling program
- Pit mapping
- Liaising with other underground departments to ensure work is carried out correctly
- Following and maintaining WHS standards
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Geology
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in underground mining
- Vulcan experience highly desirable
- The desire to further your skills and knowledge
