Senior Mine Engineer

Hays Resources and Mining currently have a number of interesting opportunities for a Mining Engineers to join international consulting firms in their Melbourne offices.  Currently working on a variety of projects locally and overseas, they are now looking to expand their current teams of consultants.


We are keen to hear from Mine Engineers at different levels from juniors through to principals. Some of your main duties would include feasibility studies, mine planning and optimization, mine economics which will include budgets and forecasts.   Included in your responsibilities will be Ventilation modelling, Drill and Blast optimisation and mine services including backfill and reserve calculations.


You will need to hold a tertiary degree in Mine Engineering and have had experience in underground or open cut mining.  The roles would suit Engineers looking to relocate Melbourne and who are seeking to expand their range of mine planning capability in terms of commodity, study type and new design and scheduling software.
