Mechanical Engineers Jnr > Snr Ore Processing

With a strong focus in the mining and industrial sectors we are now looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in material handling projects across the ore process division. Within this role you will be expected to lead and manage day to day responsibilities in delivering results and key project specifics.
 

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will have key responsibilities:
  • Providing full lifecycle reports.
  • Support and management to projects.
  • Be heavily involved in upgrades of hoppers, screeners, dumpers, stackers, reclaimers and conveyor.
  • Review and approve vendor data drawings.
  • Performing project engineering for maintenance improvements.
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers and managing client relationships.

To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified and have a minimum of 4 years experience in materials handling along with these key requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Experience designing materials handling equipment.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with SAP, MS Project and Visio.
  • A strong background in heavy industrial materials handling projects (hardrock processing)
  • Experience in Maintenance strategies and Solutions.
  • Mining experience is a must!!
