Heavy Duty Fitter, HD Fitter

Here at Hays, we have contacts with the biggest mining companies within the industry, and as a result we have a wide variety of jobs currently available. if you are a trade qualified HD Fitter, we have over 40 positions ranging from local to FIFO available. All positions will require you to perform maintenance to mobile plant earthmoving equipment and will require an immediate start.


Successful candidates will have a Cert III in Automotive (Heavy Stream); preferably with experience working on CAT and Komatsu open cut earthmoving equipment. This position will require you to perform breakdowns on mobile plant equipment, therefore you will need skills in diagnostics and troubleshooting. A HR license is not essential but highly desirable.


FIFO positions from Perth are based on a 8/6, 2/1 or 2/2 roster with highly competitive hourly rates, offering immediate starts and staying at modern camp sites. Camp facilities are standard featuring ensuite accommodation, T.V with Foxtel and wet mess.
