TRS are currently seeking a Senior Metallurgist to join a Copper Mine site in regional NSW. This is a residential position based in a regional city with excellent local facilities.
Applicants should have a number of years experience as a Senior Metallurgist within the Mining Industry. Exposure to Copper processing would be highly desirable. 
Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Manage the metallurgical balance process for the department. 
• Develop, assess and implement new metallurgical processes to improve ore processing results. 
• Coordinating people and equipment to deliver agreed outcomes to ensure plant performance is achieved. 
• Manage the day to day performance of the ore processing department ensuring that circuit issues and analysis issues are followed up. 
• Assist with the development of budgets and forecasts. 
• Complete cost reviews of the department each month. 
• Maintain a safe workplace and safe work systems for all team members. 
• Ensure that own and ore processing team members behaviour comply with company, legal and ethical standards. 
• Ensure that the ore processing manager is well informed on all operational issues.
