Human Health Risk Assessment Specialist

[Company] is seeking applicants for the position of Human Health Risk Assessment Specialist to support our East Coast Operations from our Mt Laurel, New Jersey office.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Project and task management;
- Coordination of data collection activities to support risk assessment and remediation projects;
- Quantitative data analysis, to include statistics;
- Quality assurance and quality control activities;
- Report writing;
- Tracking changing risk assessment regulatory or technical requirements;
- Mentoring and training of junior staff;
- Coordination with and support of [Company] risk assessment staff;
- Support of [Company] business development activities;
- Client interaction support.
Specific Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Public Health, Toxicology, or a closely related discipline;
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in human health risk assessment;
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with: human health assessment regulatory requirements (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, state programs), conducting multi-pathway quantitative human health risk assessments, and providing remediation strategy support;
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with risk assessment and remediation staff in other office (US and internationally);
- Strong communication, analytical, and investigative skills; (can we estimate a % of travel)
- Willingness to travel as needed to support project requirements;
- Ecological risk assessment experience and previous Health and Safety training (OSHA, HAZWOPER) is preferred.
- Oversight and mentoring by Senior Toxicologist(s) is part of our employee development program.
