Environmental Auditor

Job Description

• [Company] has an immediate opening for an Environmental Auditor based in Pittsburgh, PA. The position will report to Audit Management.

Major Responsibilities:

• Participating on cross-functional team performing compliance audits of facilities
• Discussing results with various levels of management
• Assisting with the preparation of reports for management and the Audit Committee outlining findings and corrective action plans

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or other related field
• Minimum of one year experience or internship in audit and/or relevant environmental compliance experience. Relevant environmental compliance experience includes identifying environmental aspects and impacts, assessing compliance with environmental laws and regulations at the national and jurisdictional levels, and/or applying professional environmental compliance practices.
• Candidates must have the ability and willingness to travel.

Desired qualifications:

• Preference may be given to candidates with the Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) certification.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience would be a plus.
