Solid Works Designers required for a market leader in Newcastle.  The company has 20 + sites though out the World, been in operation for over 50 years.  
 
Process Plant, Iron Ore, Coal design as well as Conveyor, Bulk Material Handling and Special Purpose Vehicle Design.   
 
This is a key design and drafting role working on projects up to $5m in value.  This position would suit a design draftsman with some heavy engineering, industrial or mining design experience using Solid Works software.  Those with an analytical approach, good problem solving skills and attitude will be favoured.
 
On a daily basis you will:

• Design Mining & Process Plants,
• Design Material handling and Underground equipment
• Utilise your Solid Works skills and become an expert
• Make Engineering changes to existing designs
• Communicate with clients and Lead Managers
• Ensure design complies with Australian Standard

The position has direct responsibility for the effective completion of diverse engineering projects for Special Purpose Vehicle, Material Handling and Underground Mining designs.  The role involves planning, coordinating, structural, mechanical and civil design, continuous improvement and new product introduction.
