Senior Mine Engineer


Our client is a specialist professional services consultancy with expertise in geosciences, international development, and project management.  


Reporting to the Team Leader, the role will involve focus on technical excellence, and will contribute positively to our clients reputation as a coal capable hub in APAC and the planned profitability for the region.  This position delivers technical services and supervision in relation to mine design and engineering activities for designated project outcomes, including technical integrity and internal quality control.


Other key responsibilities include; 

• reverse estimation and reporting, 
• due diligence studies, 
• scoping/pre-feasibility 
• feasibility studies and technical audits.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mine Engineering
• Open Pit or Underground Coal experience
• At least 6 years post graduate experience
