Mine Geologist
International base metal mining company is now looking for a Geologist looking to progress into the next stage of their career. Life on mine has recently been extended by another 10 years and exploration results have confirmed work for the long term future and have defined this mine as having one of the highest grade deposits in the world.
This permanent, fulltime role will see the right applicant:
- Core Logging management
- Ore Sampling and reporting
- Creating of weekly, monthly reporting
- Mid term, long term forecasting and planning
- Providing geological support to the technical services team
- Ensure all geological work is completed safely and in compliance with site procedures.
- Coaching and mentoring of geologists and contractors
The right applicant:
Tertiary qualified
2-4 years base metals experience in an underground environment
Surpac, Maptek or Vulcan software
Excellent communication skills
