Mechanical Engineering Superintendent - NMU

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure that all Mechanical requirements of the relevant legislation are adhered to, thereby fulfilling the statutory requirements of the role. Key responsibilities of the position will include controlling and managing the design of mechanical and maintenance installations, conducting and scheduling inspections, reviewing and auditing mechanical work procedures and ensuring all work carried out by your team is performed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the aforementioned legislation.

The successful candidate will possess a Queensland Mechanical Engineering Managers ticket and a relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Significant experience in a similar position within an Under Ground Coal operation would be highly regarded.
