Senior Systems Engineer

Brisbane based permanent role Global customer base Innovative Technology WorkPac has been engaged to recruit a Senior Systems Engineer to ensure that our clients products are worlds best and meet the demanding needs of their customers world wide. As the Senior Systems Engineer, you will report to the Systems Engineering Manager and be required to take on the engineering technical lead, specify, manage and undertake engineering work for the design and development of products.

The Job:

• Build manufacturing and maintenance needs into designs 
• Ensure products are documented for manufacturing, maintenance and usage Develop hardware solutions that meet cross-functional stakeholder requirements 
• Responsible for delivery of clear and precise manufacturing documentation 
• Effective problem solving techniques to assist support teams 
• Ensure quality and deliverables of outsourced projects 
• Ensure quality assurance relating to testing, acceptance and verification of designs 
• Experience: Minimum five (5) years experience in a commercial environment 
• Experience in a design of electro-mechanical systems for mining environments 
• Development of testing plans for development and production testing 
• Experience in manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical systems 
• Strong technical writing skills 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

Computer Aided Design at least one of the following:

• Solidworks, Altium, Autocad Desirable Experience: 
• Radar Systems Analog/Digital Design including RF Mining Industry Customer Focus Mandatory Qualifications: University Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline Desirable Qualifications: 
• Chartered Professional Engineer Registered Professional Engineer
