Drill Fitters

Our OEM client based in Emerald is seeking experienced Drill Fitters for immediate start. Reporting to the Field Service Coordinator, this role is an outstanding opportunity for someone interested in continuing to build and hone their current skills with a global company renowned for its opportunities for career advancement. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work for a company where they are a person, not a number, and want their opinions and personal needs to be valued. This role will require the successful applicant to be able to service a variety of drills on a number of sites throughout the Bowen Basin, and be available for breakdown work. This is generally a Monday to Friday position, although weekend work is sometimes necessary. Ongoing training is provided, as is a vehicle, phone and laptop for work purposes. Allowances paid for surface work, underground work and weekend work.


The successful candidate will need to be able to meet the following criteria:

• Trade qualified - diesel fitter, fitter, fitter and turner, diesel mechanic, etc
• Previous experience working with drills, Drill Tech experience ideal, and previous mining experience (either surface or underground)
• Genuine interest in playing as part of a team
• Genuine interest in building a career, and working way to success
