Principle Geotechnical Engineer

Principal Geotechnical Engineer- Rock Mechanics- Consultancy
 
TRS are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical/Rock Mechanics Engineer to join a consultancy in Perth.  This is a Senior position and applicants will ideally have 12-15 years + relevant experience, with a strong background in Open Pit Mining.
 
The Principal position will be responsible for leading project teams on consultancy assignments and make appropriate decisions and recommendations in the area of Rock Mechanics across a wide portfolio of projects. .
 
The successful candidate will have:
12-15 years + experience in Rock Mechanics
A relevant degree and post graduate qualification in Rock Mechanics or Geotechnical Engineering
A strong background in the open pit mining environment
Some experience in a senior role in a consultancy or senior mining role
An excellent remuneration package will be negotiated for the successful applicant.
