Service Mechanic

Job Description:

• [Company] is currently seeking experienced individuals for a Mobile Service Mechanic position. This position will be a direct placement with a company that specializes in manufacturing, sales and contract maintenance of construction and mining equipment. We are currently hiring for positions located in Ely and Elko, NV. This position will be primarily working in the mining industry.
• As a Service Mechanic, responsibilities will include but are not limited to, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues including; engines, chassis, transmissions, hydraulics and electric motors. Hired candidates need to be capable of going on service calls; effectively troubleshooting and fixing a wide range of mechanical and electrical issues in the field.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience with CAT, Komatsu, John Deer, Volvo, Hitachi or similar equipment
• Mobile Mechanic experience
• 5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience
• Experience working in the mining industry
• Compensation for this job is $22-30 per hour. This position offers benefits which include: medical, dental, optical and optional 401k.
