Senior Mine Water Engineer

• Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Mine Water Engineer for the Denver office. This individual will lead a practice in civil design focused on mine water engineering. Design and construction of mine water management infrastructure including water supply and tailings dams, diversion systems, flood protection, site development, and stormwater management facilities is required.

Requirements:

• A Masters Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred with an emphasis in mine hydrology, hydraulics and water resources engineering.
• Professional Engineering License and a strong background in design and construction required.
• The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with leadership ability and willingness to travel as dictated by project demands.
• Strong technical written and oral communication skills required.
• Experience with business/client development, owners, contractors, and regulatory agencies also required.
