Process Area Supervisor, Clarification

Position Description

• Located 125 miles southwest of Houston, Alcoa Point Comfort Operations supplies alumina -- the compound from which aluminum is made -- to Alcoa's  global production system -- the largest network of refineries and smelters in the world. Alcoa Point Comfort Operations has been a member of the Calhoun County Community since 1948 when it constructed the first aluminum production facility powered by natural gas. Since 1980, however, alumina has been Point Comfort Operation's primary product. • The Process Area Supervisor (PAS), Clarification, provides leadership, technical expertise, and coordination of production and maintenance activities in the area. The PAS ensures the process and physical integrity of the area's equipment and the standards by which they will operate. The PAS leads and supports change efforts in the area and ensures understanding and compliance with EEO/RASH, environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.

Experience with, and/or strong knowledge of, Company policies, labor contracts, and agreements highly desired.
