Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary

• Provide financial support to the US Field Sales Organization, as well as its senior leadership. Work collaboratively with BU Finance leaders on US order forecast/outlook consensus.
• Work with US Sales Districts on issues regarding their order/performance trends, and understanding the differences in markets between the 11-distinct US Sales Districts. Serve as centralized resource with an understanding of what specific districts are doing that is working/not working as it relates to our product and solutions businesses.
• Run monthly sales outlook calls with all 11-sales districts in the US. Prepare bottoms-up outlook monthly for all districts, and provide analysis identifying changes in underlying business drivers (i.e. distributor/industry outlook).
• Develop and understanding of the macro-economic environment in the US as an underlying business driver for ~$3 Billion of the company’s sales volume
• Assist in preparation of monthly US Orders and Sales Causal; as well as monthly Sales Outlook, and Quarterly Performance Review (QPR) presentations for Senior Management. This position owns the collection and analysis of orders, sales, and market data required for both Sales Outlook and QPR.
• Create, maintain, and track Engineered-To-Order (ETO)/Solutions Business Projects Frontlog and Forecast information.
• Drive changes and improvement to current US/North America Forecast processes both within the individual districts, and at a total regional level.
• Work with Canadian counterpart on key integration of ongoing processes in order to achieve consistency within the North America region.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in finance function.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Must have a working knowledge of MS Office.
• Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Mainframe and SAP preferred.
