Principal Geologist

My client is an international engineering & project delivery consultancy to the mining & minerals processing industry. They have an excellent track record of delivering complex projects and continue to exceed their clients expectations within the resources industry.  They have recently been awarded Definitive Feasibility Studies for a major WA Iron Ore project & Uranium expansion in Southern Africa as well as a feasibility study for a leading rare earths project.
 
They are currently looking for a Principal Geologist for their Perth CBD office to build their Geology team and Projects.
 
Responsibilities

• Studies from conceptual through to feasibility
• Reviews and audits of exploration programs
• Analyze grade control procedures and results
• Resource modeling and estimation
• Supervise and mentor junior staff

Necessary

• Relevant Bachelor degree
• Minimum 10 years experience with site based experience
• Membership to professional organization
• Exposure to consulting environment would be an advantage.
