TRS are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a background in Mine Engineering to join a leading consultancy in Brisbane.
This international consultancy provides services to both coal and hard-rock mining companies in Australia, so a background in either coal or hard rock would be considered. Ideally applicants will come from a consultancy environment, although candidates working with producers looking at that first step towards a consultancy role will also be considered.
This is an opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and challenging projects and will provide exposure to different mine sites and clients.
Applicants should have:
At least 4-5 years experience as a Geotechnical Engineer within the Mining Industry (consultancy or producer).
Excellent communication skills and client facing ability
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary project teams
Experience with using Geotechnical software packages
Appropriate degree and other tertiary qualifications
The role is city based in Brisbane but with some travel to site as required. An excellent salary and benefits package will be available to the successful applicant.
