Project Engineer

Our client, a strong player in the service industry, is searching for a Project Engineer to join their projects team. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer will be responsible for any technical support with regards to the projects, assist customers with any technical specifications, and provide information for any design inquiries. Working on multiple projects, the project engineer will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Project Manager with any technical aspects with regards to setting time lines, deliveries, budgets, and customer interactions
• Providing technical assistance to sales staff for any presentations and estimates
• Assisting the Project Manager with the creation of technical drawings and specifications
• Updating equipment data and manuals for projects
• Working with the project team for any technical support

The Project Engineer should be a strong team player and willing to assist with any requirements that will assist the team. They should also be an analytical thinker and have a strong attention to detail. The Project Engineer must also have:

• An Electrical Engineering diploma or degree
• Minimum 3 years in a project based role with a focus on coordinating and managing multiple projects
• Prior experience within a service and sales based organization with a strong focus on customer service
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and databases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong focus on customer service and sales
• Ability to adapt to different environments
