Senior Mining Engineer - FIFO

Randstad are partnering with a major global mining company in the Mining & Resources sector to appoint highly skilled Senior Mining Engineers.
 
You will be a member of a motivated team operating in close liaison with other technical and operational teams to ensure safe and efficient mining practices at this challenging greenfields metalliferous open pit mining project. 
 
You will responsible for driving safety and environmental awareness as well as be responsible for ensuring feasibility of Life of Mine planning and communicating this effectively. You will also manage the scheduling drill requirements consistent with short term objectives. Report writing and preparation for management as well as the analysis of production information and variance to budget are other key performance areas this role is responsible for.
 
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering with extensive relevant open cut mining experience. Excellent report writing and communication skills are essential as well as a professional approach to safety.
