Senior Planner | Mining & Minerals

• Experienced Senior Planner required for Mining Oil and Gas Projects
• National projects across varying sectors

What you will be doing: 
As a Senior Planner, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Planning of project activities from start to finish
• Performing feasibility studies to internal Project Managers and etc.
• Performing Project Planning reports
• Delivery of bid schedules, executed on time
• Reporting site activities on a weekly basis
• Updating schedule according to actual site status
• Working closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers and Site Managers
• Analysing the detailed plan and recovery plan prepared by subcontractors
• Supporting project team to prepare weekly and monthly reports

Who you will be doing it for:
A multidisciplinary consulting firm, which specialises in Project Management and Strategic Management services across various industry sectors including Mining and Resources, Building and Construction and Defense.
 
To apply for this role you must have:

• Planning and Project Management background - mining projects
• Basic financial knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond promptly to urgent requests
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven project planning success - mining projects
• Good IT knowledge (MS Office, Primavera 6 and Oracle)
• Strong commercial knowledge and intuition

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

• Over 10 - 20 years of experience working as a Planner in mining projects
• Good exposure to coal, iron ore and copper
