GIS & CAD Manager — Immediate Start

  • Experience managing GIS or CAD team is a MUST
  • Member of the Group's executive management team

The GIS & CAD Manager will be responsible for the following:
  • Reporting to the General Manager you will be a member of the Group's executive management team and responsible for the full business profit and loss of the GIS Department.
  • Meeting and exceeding KPIs
  • Manage strategic direction within the GIS & CAD team
  • Mentor, train and manage Project Managers / Team Leaders / Senior Analysts and Project solutions.
  • Implement & manage best practice for data integration, manipulation within GIS & CAD packages.
  • Provide training and technical Support
  • Business Development, with the ability to expand and grow the business outside the company's traditional market.
  • Networking - Attend industry events and client functions when required
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage Development of in-house systems, procedures and software.
  • Project Management - Ensure that Budget, scheduling, financial and quality goals are met.
  • Manage the preparation of tenders and submissions
  • Assist in the appointment of staff for vacancies, conduct interviews, appraisals and annual staff reviews.
To be successful for the GIS & CAD Manager position you must have the following:
  • Previous experience as a Manager of a GIS or CAD team
  • A well-known profile in the spatial Industry.
  • Previous business development experience in the spatial field.  You need to be able to introduce leads and opportunities into the organisation.
  • Ability to build long term relationship with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, leadership, Project Management, financial, budgeting and Business Development skills.
  • You must be a strategic thinker and be able to confidently articulate your ideas.
