Control and Instrumentation Engineers

A South African EPC supplier is looking for Control and Instrumentation Engineers (all levels).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc (Eng), BEng or BTech
• Experience in Mining, Mineral Processing and/or Infrastructure projects: Junior Engineer (0 to 3y) Engineer (min 3y) Senior Engineer (min 7y) Principal Engineer (min 10y)

Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:

• Interpret PFD's and P&ID's and process design criteria and control philosophies Provide C&I design input to P&ID's (red-line P&ID's)
• Create instrumentation and valve lists from P&ID's
• Generate Data Sheets (with input from other disciplines e.g. process, piping, mechanical)
• Draw up specifications and interpret vendors inputs and specifications to be able to technically adjudicate vendor submissions and select the best technical option
• Interface with the design (drawing) office to produce the required C&I documentation

• To produce electrical designs (HV, MV and LV systems)
