Project Planner

Our client is a mid-tier engineering & construction contractor that is involved in all sectors of the construction industry. After winning two major projects in the resources industry worth $200million, the client is looking for project planner that would like to work with a tight knit planning team. 

Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning, implementation and control of various 
projects by: 

• Preparing tender and construction programmes 
• Reviewing monthly status reports 
• Forecasting on major projects 
• Updating project schedules 
• Providing advice during the design, construction and operational phases of the project 
• Maintaining the Client relationship to assist project delivery 
• Presenting project updates to the client 
• Promoting a positive safety and environmental culture 
• Mentoring of project team regarding planning 

Key Requirements: 

• Proficient in Primavera 6 
• 3+ years experience of project planning 
• Planning experience within resources/construction industry
