Large underground gold operation in WA require a Senior Planning Engineer to join the tech services team on site.
Working on a FIFO 8/6 roster you will Report to the Tech Services Manager and will be responsible for producing designs and schedules for planning and production systems for the operation.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
Review existing data and produce designs from mine 24D
Produce schedules using EPS
Organise and chair meetings for the Short-Term planning and grade control functions
Produce an 18 month rolling updates to the Medium and Long-Term Systems Manager
Assist in producing annual updates
Develop safe work procedures, in line with Long-Term and Medium-Term design and scheduling system policies
The ideal candidate will possess:
5+ years experience in an underground role
Mine 24D software
EPS Scheduling software
Previous experience in mine planning
Experience of drill and blast methods and practices (bulk open stoping)
Knowledge of ventilation systems
