Process Engineer

This company is a well recognised multi-national with a large operation in the Southern Goldfields. Due to an increase in workload they are currently seeking a Process Engineer to solve technical issues, design and implement and assist in ensuring production targets are met.
 
This position will give you the opportunity to learn and progress your technical knowledge in a professional environment. You’ll analyse existing processes and assist the manager to control costs whilst exploring continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks, troubleshoot technical problems and improve the plant performance. You’ll mentor new process engineers, including graduates, covering basic mineral processing topics, as well as teaching how to approach problem-solving and developed a list of tasks, responsibilities and goals for new starters. You’ll take an active role in taking on new projects to push the organisation forwards.
 
To be successful in this role you’ll have a good understanding of the complex leaching process. You’ll have a strong foundation in metallurgy having worked as a Plant Metallurgist/Process Engineer or as an experienced Graduate Metallurgist/Process Engineer. This role requires a degree in metallurgy or a related discipline.
