We have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to help deliver transmission line and substation projects for our client on Australian and overseas projects.
Based in the heart of Brisbane City our client is a dynamic consultancy that offers a full range of consulting services covering the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of all kinds of major energy projects.
Part of a large national consultancy that undertakes national and international project work across Australia and Asia you will join the Brisbane team of 12.
Due to a very strong portfolio of projects they are looking to appoint a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to take the lead role in the design of extra high voltage (66Kv through to 330Kv) projects within the transmission line project team.
They are involved in every aspect of electrical power engineering, from the planning stage right through to commissioning. Their expertise includes Primary and Secondary electrical design, Automation, Power systems and Field Services.
You should be an experienced civil or mechanical engineer with a working knowledge of transmission line and substation structural design.
The successful applicant will have exceptional design skills, a professional attitude and an understanding of what it takes to deliver outstanding client solutions.
You should be experienced in high voltage Transmission line design, substations and associated infrastructure and be a user of PLS CADD or similar.
You will be able to work from concept through to detail design, carry out reviews and manage design output.
You should possess Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and be eligible for or already registered with the Institution of Engineers Australia.
