Exploration Geologist

This junior producing company has a drilling programme planned to start in late September for 2 months.  They require an experienced geologist to supervise the project which will be in both a near mine and regional setting in a unique location.
 
As an exploration geologist within this company, you will be responsible for a RC drilling programme. Supervising the contractors and field assistants, your main tasks will involve logging, sampling, data analysis and interpretation and mapping. 
 
You will have a tertiary qualification in geology or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience in a field based role. It is important you are able to independently supervise drilling contractors and have a team attitude. You will be liaising with the mine site on a daily basis and therefore communication skills are essential.
 
Working on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, this can be longer if you prefer as only a 2 month contract. An industry leading pay rate will be offered, based on the quality and relevance of your previous experience.
