Our client, a developing Australian Gold mining business is currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician/Sample Prep Technician to join their WA based operation.
Within this role you will be responsible for the sample preparation crushing/milling/sizing of samples using Jaw crusher, LM1 Pulverisor, Filter pressing (ascertaining weights with accuracy before and after drying), Aqua Regia digestion and operation of AAS machinery for analysis.
Working on an 8:6, fly in fly out roster this is a superb opportunity for a highly experienced Laboratory Technician to join a fast growing domestic Gold producer.
This is an autonomous position where you will be responsible for working without supervision, there is no training and development and will only suit an experienced Gold Lab Technician.
To be considered for this job you will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position, be confident in maintaining quality control minimizing contamination by adhering to designated work areas and OH&S procedures, you will have significant demonstrable experience operating AAS analysis machinery (including troubleshooting/preventative maintenance) and multi acid digest.
