Project Director - Major Project

This large EPCM consultancy is currently looking for someone to join the WA market and become Project Director of a major iron ore project.  With this venture approved and ready to go into detailed design and construction, it is the perfect time to get involved.

Your responsibility is to coach and mentor the senior management team towards client objectives and to influence and produce successful outcomes.  This will ensure the safe delivery of scope to time and budget.  This is a high level role that will see you interfacing with the projects main stakeholders and requires effective communication, strategic negotiation skills and strong commercial acumen.

As the Project Director, you will be a degree qualified engineer with a strong background in the delivery of major projects for the Australian mining industry.  You'll have longevity and stability displayed in your experience and it will be essential for you to have seen several projects through from FEED to construction complete.  It will also be critical for you to have been wholly responsible for a budget in excess of $1billion.  CPEng will be advantageous.
