Senior Geotechnical Engineer

  • FIFO from Darwin 
  • 4 days on / 3 days off rotation 
  • World's largest Zinc Producer
Our client is seeking to engage an outstanding Senior Geotechnical Engineer for their zinc mining operations in the Northern Territory.

Reporting to the Superintendent - Technical Services YOU will be responsible for ensuring the long and short term Geotechnical systems meet the needs of a growing open pit operation.

YOUR key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading a team in developing Geotechnical Management systems and models
  • Delivering on Geotechnical investigation programs to approved budgets & deadlines
  • Collaborating & providing technical support to the Technical Services department
To be successful YOU will possess:
  • Relevant Degree Qualifications
  • Previous exp in a similar role
  • Open cut mining exp (essential)
  • Exp in strategic risk identification and management (highly regarded)
