Mining Industry : Ongoing Role
FIFO Ex Darwin or Cairns
2/1 Roster


We are currently seeking the services of an experienced heavy diesel mechanic with good exposure to working within the mining industry. This ongoing role will see you enjoying a 2/1 roster travelling out of either Cairns or Darwin. All meals, accommodation, PPE and tools will be provided. You will find yourself part of a dedicated & inclusive team where your skills will be put to good use on a variety of equipment including:

CAT 777 & 785 dump trucks
992 & 993 loaders
D10 & D11 Dozers
16H Grader


To be successful you will need:

• Proven experience in mining or civil earthmoving
• Sound knowledge in maintenance & repair of CAT & Komatsu equipment
• Recognised trade qualification
• Current HR Licence
• Overhead travelling crane ticket
• Strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently
• Strong work ethics: reliable, willing, trustworthy
• Ability to pass a pre employment medical including drug & alcohol screen
• Experience in air conditioning & auto electrics will be highly regarded

If you are seeking stability & a long term assignment this will be an ongoing role with a life expectancy of at least 18 months +
