Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £28000 - £38000
Region: North West

Our client is a market leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy and is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work on overseas mining projects based near Crewe.

Candidates will be qualified to MSc level in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology and have a minimum of six years experience within geotechnical design on mining and construction projects.

You will demonstrate your technical competence at management level and have a background of successful design projects. Strong report writing and communicating skills are essential as you’ll be expected to liaise with clients and other engineers on a regular basis.

Duties will involve design of earthwork requirements, dams, waste management and the design of mining operations. You may also be required to travel overseas for short periods of time to facilitate design work.
The role comes with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package to suit.
