Role Description:
- This position is designed to perform all basic electrical work, de-energizing large mobile mining equipment according to the isolation/lockout standards, trouble-shoot electrical systems on mobile mining equipment, plant and shop facilities, install electrical conduit, and read and interpret single-line diagrams and schematic drawings.
Qualifications Required:
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code and understanding and application of mathematical and electrical formulas is essential.
- Troubleshooting and repair experience with high voltage DC motors and generators.
Qualifications Preferred:
- High school diploma/GED
- PLC programming, troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Technical school degree in Industrial Electronics
- Previous experience with large mobile mining equipment
- MSHA approval for surface mine electrician.
