Electrician - ACM

Role Description:

  • This position is designed to perform all basic electrical work, de-energizing large mobile mining equipment according to the isolation/lockout standards, trouble-shoot electrical systems on mobile mining equipment, plant and shop facilities, install electrical conduit, and read and interpret single-line diagrams and schematic drawings.

Qualifications Required:

  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code and understanding and application of mathematical and electrical formulas is essential.
  • Troubleshooting and repair experience with high voltage DC motors and generators.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • PLC programming, troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Technical school degree in Industrial Electronics
  • Previous experience with large mobile mining equipment
  • MSHA approval for surface mine electrician.
