We are seeking the expertise of a skilled Mine Geologists with experience in narrow vein mining methods to play a key part in the strategic development and implementation of mine plans and its geological processes.
Remaining hands-on, this role is ideal for a Geologist who doesn’t like being stuck in an office. You will be solely responsible for all of the sites mine geology tasks from ore spotting, sampling, mapping to grade control and supervising excavation with long term plans for you to recruit, train and build up the team.
This is a diverse and autonomous position suited to an individual capable of managing their own time effectively who possesses a hard working attitude, a commitment to team work and safe working practices.
To be considered for this position you will be a tertiary qualified Geologist with demonstrated experience in Australian underground mining consisting of a solid understanding of narrow vein gold deposits.
Located close to a small mining community in north Queensland, this company offers flights from either Brisbane or Townsville, comfortable single camp accommodation and meals included in a competitive salary package.
