Parsons Brinckerhoff has more than 14,000 employees working from over 150 offices in six continents. In Australia Pacific alone, we employ over 2,500 specialists in areas including engineering, environmental science and project management to name a few.
Right now, we’re looking for an experienced Senior GIS Consultant with 8+ years experience in the spatial sciences industry to join our team of experts in either our Perth or Adelaide offices. These teams form part of Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Geospatial Section, a national entity with representation in five states.
The successful applicant will work closely with our expanding internal and external client base to consistently deliver high quality spatial products to service all areas of Parsons Brinckerhoff’s business. We require someone with a collegiate approach to complement our national resources and contribute to our success with unique and innovative solutions.
This position would suit a senior spatial consultant who is seeking an opportunity to grow their spatial career within the structure of an expanding global engineering consultancy. Preferred applicants will ideally hold a tertiary degree in GIS, surveying, or related field of expertise and possess high level technical knowledge of the ESRI suite of products including ArcGIS Server.
Applicants are expected to have expert knowledge of the GIS Desktop and the capability to apply advanced spatial technology to one or more of Parsons Brinckerhoff’s related market sectors. Preference will be given to candidates with additional skills in application development (e.g., Python, .Net, Javascript) for desktop, web and mobile environments, relational database management, GIS-based asset management (preferably with ArcFM) and consulting experience in applying Enterprise spatial technology for utilities, transport, mining or environmental sector clients. Skills and interest in driving capability development and supporting business development on a local and national level would also be highly regarded.
At Parsons Brinckerhoff, you’ll be part of a supportive organisation that encourages continued development through ongoing training and wellbeing programs. You’ll have benefits such as flexible working hours and the option to purchase additional annual leave.
