Mechanical Project Engineer

My client is a large and successful mining organization who is now looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer for a coal mining project in Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a highly reputable organization and progress their career.
 
The Mechanical Engineer role will involve:

• To ensure that internal and external regulations and standards that are related to mechanical engineering are upheld.
• Promote innovation and improvement to mines mechanical infrastructure.
• Ensure the compilation of all mechanical safety standards on site.
• Provide and ensure that all mechanical engineering plans are up to date.

 
The requirements for the Mechanical Engineer are:

• Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Good understanding of computerized maintenance management systems i.e. SAP / Elipse / Pulse.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in coal mining, heavy industry or maintenance.
• Dragline experience is essential.
