Planning Manager

  • Leading Civil Construction Contractor
  • Major civil and underground contract for major North West Oil & Gas project
  • FIFO Roster of 21/7 or 16/5 and permanent staff position
Client:
Our client is a leading international civil contractor who provides enhanced services to the oil & gas, mining, construction, power and government markets. With an excellent project flow across major industries, they continue to be a leader in providing successful construction and project delivery solutions.

Currently involved in a major civil and underground contract for a iconic Oil & Gas Project, they now require a Planning Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for managing a team of up to 8 Planners.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years + experience as a Project Planner possessing previous construction contractor or EPCM experience
  • A strong background in the development and monitoring of project plans & construction schedules. This includes a background in producing S curves, critical path, progress monitoring
  • A strong knowledge of Primavera P6 is required
  • Proven ability in managing a team of Project Planners
  • Excellent reporting skills & the ability to liaise with project personnel across different departments
  • Excellent communication skills & decision making capabilities
  • Strong leadership skills
