Underground Mining Engineer

Currently producing from numerous mines throughout regional WA this company is an innovative & progressive miner. Growth and expansion has created an opportunity for a Production Mining Engineer to further their career within this market leader.
 

You will report to the Senior Production Engineer and will assist with various aspects of daily production.  This opportunity will allow you to build upon your existing underground experience and establish a career with a successful gold miner. In this position you will take responsibility for a wide range of tasks from scheduling to short-term planning, forecasting weekly production volumes, assisting with drill & blast operations and ongoing mine development. This job allows you to have significant input into production success by having direct hands on input into daily activities at the mine. This role offers genuine scope to step into a Senior Production and/or Mine Planning position in the future. 


You will have a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering and relevant experience in underground mining, ideally having completed your underground time.
