Mechanical Designer

Continued demand for the company's products and services has led to an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join it's Australian headquarters. Reporting to the Design Manager and working within a large engineering team, you will be involved in the design and integration of components for high productivity mining equipment. Projects will vary from the design of drive systems to hydraulic roof supports, conveyors and underground cutting equipment.
  
To be successful in this position it is essential you will possess a Fabrication or Mechanical, Drafting Certificate or Engineering Diploma. Furthermore, you will be able to demonstrate practical experience in the design of heavy industrial machinery or equipment used in the mining industry. Familiarity with design standards, assemblies and manufacturing drawings along with software skills in ProEngineer or similar parametric modelling software will also be highly advantageous..
