Outbye Services Electrical Conveyor Coordinator

  • $160k + based on suitable conveyor experience - COAL Under Ground (A MUST)
  • Experienced with Coal Clearance Systems/ inspections & monitor performance
  • Manage the electrical components of Capital Projects/ Overhauls/ Installations
An underground coal mine near the Hunter Valley is currently looking for a self-motivated and energetic electrical engineer who is experienced with conveyors and coal clearance systems. 

**Excellent relocation package on offer**

Your responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine underground inspections of the Coal Clearance System and recommend/ initiate actions to rectify issues/ non compliance 
  • Monitor and report on Coal Clearance System performance/ maintenance systems 
  • Development of functional specifications for electrical equipment required for the control of the conveyor system 
  • Manage the electrical component for Capital Projects, Overhauls, Installations, Maintenance Plans and Improvement Plans.  This includes Conveyor Lifecycle Planning 
  • Know and understand the electrical issues impacting on the Coal Clearance System 
  • Procure and manage contractors (onsite) 
  • Clearly communicate with all project stakeholders 
The requirements:
  • Electrical Engineering qualifications (Desirable) or substantial site experience 
  • Underground Coal mining experience 
  • Conveyor Coordinating experience 
  • Strong communication skills
