Water Wastewater Engineer - Brisbane

My client is a reputable boutique engineering consultancy specialising in water, wastewater & recycle water sector, established in 2004 recognised as a leader in the industry, with two consecutive years being ranked as one of the top 100 fastest growing company in Australia.  
Due to the recent successes and sustainable growth, we are looking for an experience Water and Wastewater Engineer to work and lead in sustainable water, wastewater & recycled water design.  Office based in Brisbane CBD, You will value working in an environment that is client focused and values quality, innovation and timely delivery of projects.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

• Conceptual and detailed design and preparation of technical specifications and tender documentations for water, wastewater and recycle water plants. 
• Project managing the construction and commissioning of water, wastewater and recycle water plants 
• Performance audits of existing water, wastewater and recycle water plants 
• Designing plant upgrades for water, wastewater and recycle water plants 
• Preparing testing and commissioning plans 
• RPEQ and CP (Eng) sign off of design and technical specifications 
• Assisting with the preparation of fee proposals
• Mentoring junior engineers 

Skills and Experience 

• Chemical Engineers, Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers or Environmental Engineers with 10+ years experience and ideally RPEQ or CP Eng certified. Key skills and attributes:

• Proven ability to design water, wastewater & recycle water plants 
• Proven project management skills, including deadline and project budget management 
• An understanding of the technical aspects of water, wastewater & recycle water treatment in a variety of applications 
• Ability to assess new treatment technologies and processes and apply them to practical ecologically sustainable designs 
• Client focused with good interpersonal and relationship building skills
