Cisco Network Engineer - Hands on Implementation - Resources Sector

Cisco switching and routing implementation contract in project environment for a mining giant

 
The contract:

A long term opportunity with a mining giant in the resources sector, starting as soon as possible.  This is a hands-on Layer 3 implementation role.

The purpose of this role is to implement designs produced by Senior Engineers for networks in both the Perth CBD and remote site locations throughout WA.  

As the ideal person for this role, you will have: 
  • Extensive experience configuring Cisco switches such as 3750, IE3000, 3560 etc
  • Solid hands on implementation and roll out experience
  • In depth working knowledge of edge switching (VLAN, VTP,  Spanning Tree and CDP)
  • Strong understanding of, and experience with routing
  • Minimum CCNA (current)
