The Role:  

The Application Delivery Manager will lead the delivery of application services achieving cost objectives, SLA targets and client satisfaction. The role is responsible for growth of application services and drives productivity as well as continual improvement through integration of technology and team expertise. 

The role will provide visible leadership and management to the assigned delivery teams. This includes team management and setting team performance goals.

With this role will come the responsibility of being contactable for escalations after hours, when required.  
 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Business Development. You will be responsible for the growth of application services and new solution deployment
• Responsible for service delivery execution for area managed
• Ensuring excellent interface with clients
• Monitoring and reporting budget/forecast deviations  
• Profit and Loss associated with the portfolio of applications
• Maintaining quality of deliverables within defined and agreed requirements
• Escalation point for delivery and crisis call oversight
• Accountable for staff management including Annual Performance Appraisals of staff
• Responsible for recruitment and setting the overall resourcing level of the allocated teams
• Coaching/mentoring direct reports, individuals and the team

Key Requirements:  

• Experience working in Service Application Delivery Management
• Experience within the mining /natural resources industry
• Experience working for a large scale organization
• Experience working with a multiple client base would be ideal   
• Must have strong experience with people management  
• Strong leaderships skills are an absolute must  
• Must be excellent at problem solving
• Relevant IT or Business Management Degree
• Experience in Program Management, IT business solutions, application services, or systems integration
